Exploring Rail Museum

It was a Sunday Morning Fresh with wonderful Hot and Humid Climate Conditions which was the ending of Summer Season Few Days after Lockdown I had My Travel to Nearest Location which is within the City the Newly Renovated  Rail Museum and I was in Confusion will Museum is Open or Close Due to Pandemic but the Museum was Open and we are Ready For our Next Journey to Museum the time was around 12:30 in the Afternoon I Started My Visit to this Museum which is around 9km From My Location and this Museum is Located Next to Railway Station which is Around 500 Meters and walkable Distance From Railway Station and we Left Home @ Around 12:35 pm in the afternoon the Clock was Moving a Bit and I Crossed Via Kalidasa Road and Passed Through Akashvani Circle and Join the CFTRI Road and Reached the Destination in 15Minutes and Not Much Traffic Conditions and we Reached the Destination soon...and I parked the Vehicles in the Parking and there was Separate Entrance From Parking to Inside and in Few Minutes I reached the Entrance of the Museum the View of the Museum in Front was Like this...

The Rail Museum in New Renovated in 2020 the New Look of the Rail Museum Attract Human and very Spacious and Wonderful on the Right Side of the Museum we Could See a Loco which is Standing at the Entrance which Attract Tourist Attraction and wonderful to Start Before Entering and Ticket Fare was around 50 Per Adult which Includes Toy Train Ride to...and the wall Under the Loco was Painted Wonderful and Realstics...

 and Before Exploring Museum Since its first week after Lockdown, they Checked the Temperature and Took Personal Details which is a Must Bcoz of the Pandemic Crisis .... and after all the Procedures we were Allowed to Explore the Museum...on the First, we Saw the Museum Started and Founder and Co-Founder and also History and on the Next side it Consisted a Mini 3D Model of Mysore Railway Station and Few Toy Trains were Kept and which was Wonderful to watch, From Various Sides...

The View From Top the 3D Model was Kept inside the glass Designed as Per Same Railway Station and Tracks and Platform and Surrounding Nature which were Realstics and Wonderful to Watch.... and Moving on towards the Next Side we Saw a Beautiful Buddha Statue amazing things to Start .....
The Beautiful Buddha Statue with water Flowing which was Kept in the Center of Plants in the Rail Museum and which were wonderful to watch and on the Next Portion of the Building we saw a Room Consist of " Guard and Token Ring Exchange and Signal Lamp and Also walkie Talkie and Communicating Device " Like Phone Used in Trains From Olden Days and till today which were Interesting Thing to Explore...After Exploring that Room we First Saw a RailTrolly which was Kept on the Left-Hand Side of the Museum which was Like this 

The Railway Trolly with Break which used By Railway Employees and Workers During Inspections of Tracks and Constructions Near Railway Tracks and also Used to Carry Heavy Tonns Objects and it was Wonderful and Keep @ the Start of the Other Side of the Museum...There were Types of Railway Tracks Like Meter Gauge, Broad Gauge, Wooden Gauge...The illustration was Made with Men Shadows has Been Shown which were Wonderful to Watch...
The Broad Gauge was the First to be seen and the Broad Gauge is used in the Current Period and Size is Bit Broad and which is Bigger and Wider than Meter Gauge and its History were Given in Details and Next we are Moving Towards the Meter Gauge.... which was Like this... which was Called as BG (Broad Gauge)... 
And Next, we saw Meter Gauge which is Smaller Than Broad Gauge like Broad Gauge the Meter Gauge which was Used in Modern Times Which Is Represented By MG (Meter Gauge) and even the Meter Gauge is Still in Use in Ooty to Mettupalayam Route Which Exists Till Date...in short, the Route Goes along the Forest... and Moving on towards the Next is Narrow Gauge...

The Narrow Gauge with Wooden Planks was Kept which is Also Used in Indian Railways it's used in Hill Area and its a Rare thing and as Per Data are Given it was Used in Early Periods and The Collections was Kept wonderful....the Wooden Planks is Still Used in Other Countries Which Use Narrow Gauge... amazing to watch...
The Next we are Moving Towards the Track Changing Switches which were Use During Modern Period and each Has a Set of Numbers and Starting From SP From Switch 1 to Switch 4 with Tracks were Kept and Reading About it which we Used By Indian Railway During Olden Days and Wonderful Collections were Kept... and Next we are Moving Towards
The First thing we saw a Stream Boiler which was Made in London and was Given to South Western Railways and was Given to Mysore Railways and it was Small and Wonderful to watch which were Kept In Between the Gardens amazing to see and it had two Spaces for Coal Productions which were an amazing thing to Start...and Next Moving Towards inside the Restaurant which is Inside the Museum and which was Wonderful and Good Space for Sitting and Coffee... The wall Of the Restaurant was Wonderfully Designed with Railway Train Coming From the Track and even The City Structure was Made Wonderful which was Made to Attract User Attractions and Wonderfully Made...
Our First Locomotive MG 2511 Steam Locomotive which was the First Locomotive at the Start we Saw the Beauty of the Locomotive and the Colour with Greenish Black Paint and Black Paint on the Front amazing and Red Matching on top which was Wonderful to watch... and Next we Saw the Interior Cabin View of the Locomotive with the Cabin which was Open we Climbed inside and took which was Like This...
at the Right Side of the Cabin after Entering we saw the Speedometer and Holding and Below the Holder, there is a Space For Coal Insertion there was a Gap and Behind was another Place for Coal Storage which was Wonderful to See when I Climbed Up the Cabin I Started Feeling of Driving it which was Amazing thing...
After Exploring the Cabin Part of the MG 2511 and Next we Explored the Face Portions of the Locomotive and Other Side of the Locomotive and amazing Look and Wonderful Next we are Seeing Few Tracks Which were Kept During The Time the Locomotive Running Period and Next we are Moving Towards Locomotive and Next one was Passenger Rail which was Like this Overall Engine and Everything Like Compartments...

There was Also MG (METER GAUGE) and a Separate Cabin For the Driver and Passenger Side was Attached and even Back was another Cabin for the Driver which was Wonderful and this Train was First Used in " Talguppa In Karnataka " the Meter Gauge Passenger Car... and we also Explored Inside and Next we Saw Railway Cranes which were Used to Lift Railway During Those time The Crane was Like this...

Which was Used By South Railways " the Number was SR 033993 which is also Meter Gauge Cranes Used during those Time by South Railways and On the Opposite Side of the Crane was the Wooden Box Goods Carrer which was Made with wood and Small one which was Kept to Carry Goods For Long Services During Those Days which was Like this...
it was Repainted Wooden Box was Also Meter Gauge(MG) and there was a Lock to Open and Explore it was Tight Bcoz the Wooden Box was Repainted New which is an amazing thing we Explored and Next walking towards the Gallery room of Mysore Rail Museum which is on the Other Side of the Garden...


and Separate Building which Includes the Equipment Used During those Days and Also Types of Indian Railways and Indian Railways Route From Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari and also Scenaric Railway Route " Ooty to Mettupalayam and also The Most Danger  Pamban Bridge and Also the Rail Route which goes through Forest were Given at the Start...

 The History of Each Scenic Route was Explained in Detail and when it was Constructed and How it was Constructed During Those Days were Given in Details and Next we Saw Evolutions of Indian Railways Locomotives and Its History on the Same Room...

The Evolutions of Indian Railways Starting From Stream Locomotive, Diesel Locomotive, Electric Locomotive and its Time was were Presented into 3 Layers Medival Modern and Present so the Medival Period was Stream Locomotive and Modern Period Diesel Locomotive and Present Period Electric Locomotive which was Represented Like that which was an amazing Evolutions and His History and in the same Room, we Saw " First Indian Railways Tickets which was Very Small Like Stamp Size and Next we Saw Letters and Government Documents Used by Indian Railways those days...and Modern Tickets were Kept inside a Glass which was Very Informative and Useful and also Few Coins used During that time were Collected and Wonderful to watch...and Next While Coming Out of the Room we saw a Caffeine Van which was Designed Like Pink and Orange and almost Like an AC Coach Caffeine Van which was Kept and on the Opposite Side we Could See Another Locomotive Standing Near the Toy Train Track which was Beautiful 
The Locomotive Dark Blue and Black in Front & this Locomotive Belongs to Southern Railways which was Wonderful to watch... and the Front Face of the Locomotive was Painted Black and Gold Star which was another Steam Engine Locomotive Kept and Next Moving on towards the Station of the Toy Train and Before that, we saw the Bolt item made in Stone and which was Made in Stone and was Kept on Separate which was Wonderful and Moving on towards the Toy Train Railway Station and there is Separate Time For Toy Train Ride which is 600Meters Ride and Before the Time to Start we are Moving towards the Toy Train Railway Station which was Like this 

Finally, Near the Toy Train Ride Station, its Capacity is 30 Persons and it has Just an Engine and 3 Compartments and the Ride Starts @ 3:00 pm afternoon and when I reached the Station it was 2:50 pm in the afternoon Instead of Waiting Time I took the Station Surroundings the Station was Designed Like a Traditional Old Station which was Made Wonderful and with the Station Master Standing and it was made Realistic with Ticket Counters and Also Stations with Sand Buckets and Signal and Overall Surrounding was Wonderful and it was Like Old Station Rebuilt and the time was around 3:00 pm it was the Time for Toy Train Departure and we are Ready and Sat on the second Compartments and the Train Started to Move and also it was Fun to Start the Wonderful Ride an amazing Thing to Start on the Ride side we saw Few Dolls which were Made by Workshop of Southwestern Railways and it was Wonderful... 

The Second Round the Ride is Going to End near the there was Beautifully Designed Tunnel with Stone and Rims and Grass which were Wonderful to watch... and Near the Tunnel the Honking Sound which was Very Funny and Wonderful to watch...and After Completing Ride in Toy Train we saw Diesel Engine the WDM 3A Series Blue Colour Locomotive on the Left Side and Straight was the Entrance to Royal King of Mysore Train which was Kept in Museum the Train was Like a Home " with Compartments Consist of Royal Type Kitchen and Bathroom and Store Room and also Few Commodities 

The Royal King Used the Train During his Rule in Mysore City and the Train Had Variety of Entrance and Some Coaches Includes Dress Tabel and Some Include Royal Bead and Dinning hall which were wonderful to watch and after Crossing this we are Moving towards the Guard Van Used During those days and Also we saw Inspection car 07327...
Which was Kept Outside and it's all Repainted and Wonderful to watch...and we Tried to Explore Inside but the Door was Locked and we Observed Many Models of Railways Locomotives and also Mirrors Used by Royal queen Express and Bridge which were wonderful to Explore...
and Next, we Saw wheels of Indian Railways which was Kept Separate and it was also Repainted and Wonderful which was Kept on the Tabel For the Public which was Painted Wonderful and Moving on towards the Other Side of the Gardens of the Museum we Could See Wheels Used by Indian Railways were Kept which was Kept on Side and the Wall was Painted wonderfully with Indian Railway Electric Locomotive ...

" The Design was Made Wonderful & Realistic and the View was Made Huge in Size an amazing One...and Below was the Locomotive wheels which were Kept as a Pair and it was also Repainted and it's Used in Earlier Days... which was Like This 
The wheels were Repainted and Kept on the Stone Surface Terrain and Next also we Saw Another Few Wheels which were Used in Earlier days and it was Like This and wonderful...
These Wheels were Broad gauge " and it was Used in Both Modern and Present Time and the wheels were Designed in Mysore Ashokpuram Work Shop ... and Next Moving on the Other Building which is the View Tower of the Museum Climbing Up the Building " The Entire View of Rail Museum From top so entire Rail Museum is Visible and Also Railway Station which is Behind Rail Museum the time I went was " Few Remaining Construction works were Taking Place and now it Might have Completed and Next Getting down From the Building "On the Opposite side is the Signals which were Used in Indian Railways During Centuries which were Kept as the Collections in the Museum...

The Signals which we First Explored was Very Old one and this is MAQ 3CL: Stop Caution Proceed Which was Used By Indian Railways in Early Days when the Steam Locomotive was on run... and Next we Saw The Signals MACL: Stop Caution, attention, Proceed and there were Variety of Signals which were Used By Indian Railways and also in MACL Signals the Starting it Shows Proceed and it's Green (Train Leaves the Station) Double Yellow May Indicates Allows Train to Move from One Station and Also Making Sure the Space for Left Train in the Next Station...
there were Few More Signals which were Used in recent days and which was Like this The Signal was working and it was Stop "Red and these Signals were Used During the Present time and it works on the Basis of Sensors and Next Moving on towards the Final Building which is a Gift Shops in the RailMusuem and it was wonderful and that it End of the Museum and Next Going towards Parking of the Rail Museum and the time was around 3:30 pm and it was a wonderful time in the Museum we Learnt about many things and also Equiments Used by Indian Railways "the Southwestern Railways and Locomotives and its Evolutions and Finally a wonderful Ride @ Museum Toy Train.... and hence it was the wonderful Travel on My List and see u all in another Travel Experience of my until then Baye Baye...
